Crossrail: 30 tph
Modelling 30tph through the Central section
When opened to the public in its complete configuration at the end of 2019, Crossrail will be served by 24 trains/h per direction in the peak hours. However, the line was designed for a maximum of 30 trains/h. Thanks to the experience gained in the sensitivity analysis of Crossrail, trenolab was asked to verify the necessary preconditions - in particular regarding dwell times and other variabilities - to operate 30 tph on the line with the high reliability standards required.
