Feasibility study Nord-Norgebanen

The project was included in a wider feasibility study commissioned by the Norwegian railway authority to examine the technical feasibility and estimate the cost of a completely new railway line connecting the North of Norway with the rest of the country. trenolab took over the capacity planning task, which included studying the effects of newly generated railway traffic on the existing network. A dimensioning layout for the new line was also developed, based on a future service concept.
