Giorgio Medeossi, Technical Director
Giorgio Medeossi was co-founder and president of LIFT until the foundation of trenolab. He studied at the University of Trieste, receiving a PhD in Transportation Engineering in 2010. In 2006 he developed his Master Thesis at the ETH Zurich (CH). In 2011 he was awarded the Young Researcher Award of the International Association of Railway Operations Research (IAROR). With 10 years of experience and over 50 studies involving railway simulation, he is the Technical Director of trenolab.
I’m amazed at how smoothly railway systems can carry thousands of people on infrastructures designed centuries ago. At trenolab, we strive to make them even better.
