At InnoRail 2021 trenolab presented the new advanced simulations capabilities of Trenissimo. For projects where multiple investments in infrastructure and variations in timetables are considered, it is now possible to setup advanced stochastic simulations where the simulator automatically combines all permutations of multiple timetable options, multiple infrastructure versions, multiple driving style parameters, multiple delay models and optimally simulates the resulting options space.

The presentation at InnoRail surprised the audience with the speed of Trenissimo simulations, which reduces to hours what is traditionally computed in days, and the accuracy of results, which supports good decision-making for railway investments.
